As you can see, there is a bit of scalloping, but really no shape otherwise: seams are straight.
There is a bolt rope (7/16”) all around, with loops at the tack points (bottom corners) and there should be
an extra loop at the reef line (the one we had didn’t have one). One row of reef lines 5’ up from the foot,
and pairs of lines at the head spaced 1’ apart to tie the sail to the spar.
I’ve looked at Dacron, and found there is an off-white and a red which is not as deep as tanbark, which are the
colours we used. 6-oz should be OK for the size of this sail less than 250 square feet…
